The art of inspiring communities
"Inspire Them" programme was founded by three young women who went through life challenges themselves and realized that, without a vision, faith and respect in our life, we will not be able to achieve anything in life."
Initially the name was inspire her, after some intensive research we realised, the daily issue we face do not only affect women but also man, children and the youth, and this is how the name Inspire Them came up.
"Inspire Them" is a program that aims to reach as many Namibians as possible, but specifically will focus on inspiring women, men, teenagers, communities, schools, prison mates, corporate companies and the man on the street.
“Inspire Them” activities are:
And most of all, living a vision led life that has purpose and allowing your soul to dance. The purpose of life is not only to be happy.
I believe in women and in people, I believe that conversation should be heard, share experiences and engage with all our social issues.
Issues of faith, issues of relationships, friendships. Issues of marriage and issues of LIFE.
Having these discussions will bring about the change we need in our country. We need to learn to be open.
With our workshops our aim is to work together with women from all walks of life, to empower, to encourage and to inspire.
One woman can make a difference but Together WE CAN CHANGE the WORLD. Let’s start with our homes, our communities, our towns, our schools, our Country.
We’ve meet over 30 women and about 10 men.
We are Career wives, mothers and inspired women who believe that we need to share our lives experience with others and with the aim of assist our country fight Gender Based Violence (GBV) against women, children, men and at the same time reducing the rate of divorce.
We have topics focusing on:
The once that stand out the most are, spending time with yourself, respecting your husband and loving your wives.
Men don’t need love they need respect, because respect is seen as love by our men.
Men give love to their partners and women respect their men.
This is one of the main topics we hamper on a lot, because this is not made clear out there, and through our program we’ll be able to help men and women understand this.
